I started the ribbing for my second glove the other day. All seemed to be going well until I took a close look at it. Hummm something had gone rotten in Denmark.
I have knitted where I should have purled and purled where I should have knitted. It was only a few stitches and at the very beginning, but I can't stand to know that there is a mistake and not fix it. So it has been completely ripped out.
Now I get to start over from the beginning. It isn't like I made it really far or anything, but that is time that I really didn't want to waste. Oh well what are you going to do?. I knew that I wouldn't have been happy with it if I would have left the mistakes and god forbid if it was a gift, there is no way that I could have left them in then.
Call me a perfectionist, call me anal, call me completely crazy, at least if you get something from me you know it is done right and the best that I can do.
Well it is back to the cast on then on to the ribbing again.
